Dedication Prayer

O God Almighty, Who made the Heavens with wisdom and has established the earth upon its sure foundations, the Creator and Author of all men, look upon these Your servants and members of the AHEPA organization, to whom it has seemed good to set up a house for the dwelling of people, so all may lay their heads upon a pillow at night, who after growing weary may find rest and safety, here at this place. Who look not to their own accomplishments but share the wealth and glory of the kingdom revealed here in this city. Bless those who work here, the trustees and benefactors, the city and American Government who also has placed their hand upon us, those who they rule to share the goodness, that society may have the necessities to live and dwell in peace and honor by providing the opportunity for this building. Bless each of the officials who have made the mark to proceed, bless those who will now continue to lead and those who will come after.

Establish this edifice upon a stable rock, and found it according to Your divine word in the Gospel, so that neither wind, nor flood, nor any other thing shall be able to harm it; graciously grant that they may bring it to completion, and deliver all them who shall wish to dwell therein from every attack of the enemy; for Yours is the dominion, and Yours is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, of the Father, and the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
